So I really liked this episode, ans especially this moment, which is probably my favourite TV moment of all time.

Anyway-
Staedtler sketching pencils 6H-8B for body, earth and inside the TARDIS.
Faber Castell woodless Pure Graphite 9B pencil for background.
Faber Castell Polychromos for the TARDIS.
Regular erasers, kneaded eraser, Faber Castell pencil eraser.

Only blended the earth (the circular shape in the third panel, that's supposed to be the earth. As you can see, I SUCK AT BLENDING)

About 30-40 hours.

I assume it is not needed to mention copyrights, but seriously, don't. This is my favourite drawing of all times. I will protect it to my grave.

This is so beautiful! And such gorgeous, gorgeous wood grain! No one ever attempts the wood grain !!! I love it!!! xxxx
I honestly don't know how you did this so accurately it's gorgeous!!!
Just perfection, and flawless - It's exact.
Brian's face - I also love the shading and choice of detail there - proportions and everything are exact too!!!
This is exactly what I call 'ART" - taking and emulating not only the flawless visual, but also emulating the mood through your work - which in the original is constructed with movement, light colour and sound - and here you've used less of a colour palette and just achieved the expressions and angle/moods perfectly.
I love it.
OH ! Just noticing the TARDIS inside!!! I was so entranced with the woodgrain I didn't even really see it the first time - it's perfect and flawless!!! How do you get so structurally accurate!! I super hate working with structures {esp straight ones} But I suppose this takes a lot of concentration, accuracy and patience
Did you draw it with pencil first {as in, maybe outlines etc. and then do the shading later once it was all perfect and proportional etc.???
INCREDIBLE - I love this
Thank you for inspiring me!! I want to achieve a mood like this! GOSH ! XXXXX
